Over the years, Frisomat has become a world playing innovator and leader in cold rolled steel structures. To keep innovating, we built our own Innovation Center.
We stripped an existing Astra-concept (21m free span, 64m long and 7m sidewall height) and started an ambitious project.

Petrostal in Romania
A special combination of a modified Flatro-concept coupled with a classic Astra-concept. The Flatro has a sidewall height of 6m, a free span of 22m and a length of 16.5m. The coupled Astra has the same sidewall height and span and is over 40m long. The Flatro accommodates a brand new showroom.

Pagadder Tower
The “Pagaddertoren” was designed by artist Frans Van Praet. The Chamber of Commerce “Antwerpen-Waasland” had it built to honor its 200th birthday. The complete construction is made out of metal. Frans Van Praet worked with Frisomat before (Belgian Pavillon on World Expo 98) and knew Frisomat good.
