I specialise in web design and web development, using XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, XML and Javascript to create static and dynamic web sites. I place an emphasis on interesting and different graphic design, but also quality of code and web standards. Web sites are written so as to be highly accessible by search engines, to ensure the highest natural position in search engine listings.
I have developed a content management system, "Jed", which allows the user to control the content of their website. It can be used to add, edit and delete text, upload photos and videos, and modules are created for any other necessary functions. It is intuitive and easy to use, allowing for anyone to make changes to a website.

A local landscape gardener required a simple, five page website for moving his business advertisement on to the web. Written in strict XHTML and CSS, the website features a flash gallery for his portfolio, and a static gallery for users without flash.

Some friends approached me to request a website which would allow them to show photos and interact with their friends. I created a "wall", where friends can post threads and replies, and also comment on individual photos. This was the first site to be integrated into my content management system.
