Summary:
SSTAR was founded in 1996 by the current MD, Val Walker and incorporated in 1998. In that period SSTAR instructors and affiliate instructors have trained 25,000 candidates in London and the Home Counties. The instructors are all experienced specialists in their own field, bringing a depth of knowledge to the training. SSTAR works closely with the Health and Safety Executive and the CIEH to deliver courses to meet the users’ needs in preventing accidents and ill health, and promoting safety and wellbeing of all. Effective health & safety training is vital to ensure all levels of staff are aware of current legislation, their responsibiities to others, and to enable them to make contributions to raising health & safety standards within their organisation.
