Superfried were given the daunting task of designing the sleeve for this gritty debut novel by American author Matthew McIntosh. The novel consists of several dark short stories. With such variety of topic and content it was a tough brief requiring 11 designs to reach the perfect solution.
Huttons is a retail chain with varied products from women’s clothes to high-end furniture. The re-brand was a challenging brief since despite 80% of customers being female it was important not to alienate men. Superfried achieved this balance with effective use of colour and subtle iconography.
Electronic music label 1980 recordings required a re-brand to maximise recent high praise by top DJs such as FatboySlim. After reviewing the existing material it was clear a sharper, more vibrant look was required. Superfried achieved this using bold geometry and styling to fit the retro name.
