May Gurney
Over a period of the last 15 years Conexions has installed cat 5 cabling and Toshiba phone systems for May Gurney.Some have been in new offices and others in site porta cabins.
Sites all over the country by railway stations ,motorways,on top of bridges but all with the same attention to detail.The philosophy that a May Gurney employee should be able to work from any site and not have to be retrained to use the comms equipment.

The brief was to relocate GTC a specialist gas supplier to brand new premises with the minimum of disruption.Conexions designed ,supplied and installed floor to ceiling storage wall,
desking,seating,screens and bespoke reception and meeting room furniture .The latest Toshiba phone system with voicemail,call monitoring and recording was connected to a cat 6 cabling infrastructure.The big move took place over one weekend which involved ten of Conexions staff working shifts so that come Monday morning all 189 staff were fully functioning.
Madingley Hall
This was a major project which was extremely sensitive as Madingley Hall is a Grade I* listed building.We had already supplied and installed a Toshiba phone sytstem which was set up to work as if in a hotel,with 60 rooms.The new brief was to provide a full security system that was as discreet as possible .This meant very carefull planning with many meetings with senior university members,English Heritage,Building Conservation,Cambridgeshire Police and most importantly the Head gardner [Richard].The project included door access control,driveway rising bollards,cctv and IR beam detectors.All external equipment was painted in National Trust green and no cables were visible. In the region of 500m of ducting was installed across manicured lawns using specialist equipment with very little visual impact.[Richard was very pleased]
