The sizes of the trailers vary but are usually around 20ft by 10ft and you’ll need to leave a clear 3ft around the front and one end to accommodate the steps and trailer frame. Firm level ground is required – a field is fine as long as there’s no danger of the trailer sinking or becoming stuck.

If you’re running a large event it’s worth bearing in mind that you’ll have to provide toilets for the staff working at the event as well as your guests.
